Only certificated vacancies that are part of an extended program (longer than nine months) are advertised online.
An annual teacher placement fair is held to fill positions for the following school year. This event is by invitation only! An invitation is extended to applicants that have a complete, certificated application on file by March 5. Those that have a complete application on file after the deadline will be considered for vacancies that become available after the placement fair.

The St. Tammany Parish School Board is now accepting applications for a federally funded Instructional Coach at the Educational Center. This is a nine and one-half (9 ½) month position effective for the 2021-2022 school session. Salary will be based on degree and experience. Qualifications for this position are: Louisiana teaching certificate in the appropriate area(s) relative to the job assignment to include Elementary, English/English Language Arts, or Mathematics certification and three (3) years teaching experience; Masters Degree and five (5) years teaching experience preferred. The St. Tammany Parish School Board is now accepting applications for Certified Tutors. This is a timesheet position (no more than 20 hours per week). The rate of pay is $25/hour. Candidates must hold valid teaching certification. TRSL retirees may be subject to an earnings limitation.
