Safe, reliable bus transportation is provided for students to help ensure punctual and responsible school attendance. Approximately 31,500 students are transported by public school buses daily. The average daily distance covered by the 380 school buses totalled 29,000 miles.
Bus Transportation “Seat Reservation” Clarification
If you have already indicated your child will ride a bus through any of the following ways, no further action is required and you do not need to contact the Transportation Department.- Responded to the bus questionnaire/survey and provided your child’s name and school
- Called or emailed the Transportation Department relative to “RESERVING YOUR SEAT”
- Your child’s teacher called and you indicated your child will ride the bus
If you have not already indicated how your child will get to school, please contact your child’s school to provide that information.

Join Our Transportation Team
We are looking for qualified bus owner/operators to join our team. This is a nine-month position with a base salary of $24,950 plus operational expenses. A CDL and 30-hour pre-service is required.
